用法

(1)till和until相比较时,一般说来till是普通用语; until的语意较强,特别是在一个句子或子句的开头用得很多;

有喜欢用until的倾向。

(2)用till, before, after, when, as soon as, if等引导表示时间或条件的副词子句时,子句中表示未来的动作或状态的动词通常用现在式;同样地,表示未来完成之意的动词也用现在完成式:

I will remain here till the plane takes off.

(我会留在这里,直到飞机起飞为止。)

It will not be long before spring comes.

(春天就快来临了。)

Let's start as soon as we have finished lunch.

(我们吃过午饭后马上出发吧。)
