(1)在It is [has been] six years since I left school.

这种说法, It ... since ... 这个句型中的主要子句的动词如果是现在式is,算是标准用法,而如果是现在完成式has been,则是通俗用法。

(2)作conj. 释义「因为…既然…」时, since所引介的子句可位于主要子句之前或其后。

(3)作adv. 释义「其后,从那时起」时,和完成式连用;作adv. 释义「(从现在或那算几年之)前」时,则通常和过去式连用。
