用法

(1)当pron.用时, anybody比anyone语意更为轻松缓和。

(2)anybody为单数形,通常后面可用he [him, his]偶尔亦可用they [them, their, etc.]:

If anybody calls, tell him [them] I have gone abroad.

(若有人来访,告诉他[他们]我已出国)

anyone虽亦偶尔可用they [them, their, etc.]于其后,但不如用anybody时之常见。

(3)在否定句中用anybody时,否定词应出现于前。如:

There was nobody there.

但是Nobody listened.却不可说成Anybody did not listen.
